 A steady light breeze from the North East and plenty of rain made for an interesting afternoons sailing.  Peter Kampe had electrical trouble at the beginning of the first race and was out for the afternoon but managed to sneak a couple of races in with Roger Taylors Cockatoo 2.  Malcom Kampe who has had his borrowed TS 2 sold, sailed Brad Johnstone’s Cockatoo 2 for a couple of races with good results.  Les Brown officiated as OOD, and did a great job as usual.  Thanks Les.

All in all a very pleasant afternoons sailing with the finishes being very close.  It’s pleasing to see Brian Heneker is on the pace with his Cockatoo 2, most of the time he was right there with the leaders.  It was also nice to see Alan Walker work his way through the fleet after infringing the odd penalty or two.  Good on you Alan.
