Club Points Score Race Day 23/06/07
Today
saw a chilly south/Easter blowing. The wind was at the top of ‘A’ rig. Due
to the cold weather we had a few less competitors than usual. It was good
to see Doug Wells back form a recent overseas jaunt. He was going really
well until electrical problems put him out of the running. Bill Clancy was
also in the groove with some strong finishes. John Preston also had a
couple of solid mid fleet finishes once he had rudder issues sorted out.
But once again Alan Walker and Brad Johnston were at the top of the pecking
order. Good on you guys.
Next
weekend sees the inaugural tri-club event between our club Mooloolaba and
North Lakes. Sign on 9.30 racing starts 10.00-3.00
