Fleet Racing 

Results 17 February

Last weekend again saw a small but very competitive fleet racing in “B” rig conditions.  The wind from the South East had enough shifts in it to provide passing lanes if picked correctly.

Race management was handled by Jabin Crisp who fortunately/unfortunately depending on your standings in the fleet left his transmitter at home.  Jabin was ably assisted by 18 month old son Zac who had a great afternoon sitting under the trees watching the racing, snoozing and looking after Bella the dog.

Jabin had a very easy job as all penalties were carried out virtually before he had the opportunity to call them.

A prospective new member Richard sailed a couple of successful races.  It was interesting to here his comments about his heart rate increasing at the start gun.

Erin Conza’s another new members Bantock “Zig Zag” will be in the water this weekend.  The boat is beautifully presented and its pedigree should ensure good performance.
