Sailing started at 1pm with a top of A rigg breeze.
Eight yachts faced the starters gun, as Charmaine frantically tried to sort out electrical problems on her yacht.
There was close competion at both ends of the fleet.
The members were pleased to welcome Bill Clancy and he was applying the pressure to our top skipper Brad Johnson.
Unfortunately Brad also suffered electrical problems at the end of the day and missed the last few races.
We also welcomed Richard West who called in and sailed Brian Heneker's yacht for a couple of races.
Richard is waiting on the completion of a new Cockatoo 2 and he will certainly be a welcome addition to our fleet in the near future.
Bill changed to a B rigg for the handicap races 5 through to 8, and as usually happens the wind died as soon as the B rigg hit the water.
A good days sailing was enjoyed by all, and congratulations to Allan Walker who was the most consistant on the day and deserved his first placing.

This Sunday the 22nd April the club welcomes members of the Gold Coast Club, with sailing starting at 10am with a BBQ at 1pm.
