Well another glorious day in Paradise.  A day of northerly winds that shifted enough to create a few passing lanes. 13 boats made for interesting starts and plenty of action at the top and bottom marks.  John Preston had his Joker going well and had the pedal to the metal all day ending up 4^th.   It goes to show you don’t need the latest hot shot boat to be competitive.  Brett Whitbread a new member/local was with us today with his V3.  He hasn’t sailed for several months but he certainly is on the pace.  This showed in his final placing of 5^th for the day.  Others that were on form as usual were Peter Kampe, Alan Walker and Brad Johnston.  But Malclom Kampe sailing one of Peter’s boats was also right there for most of the afternoon. 

Great to have Clive Brooks on hand to act as OOD, a big big thank you Clive!
