Welcome to the Paradise Radio Yacht Club

Club Background

The club was formed in 2006 by a group of IOM sailors looking for a venue that offered fair sailing breezes that allowed all sailors the opportunity of competing fairly.

After spending some months looking at a large number of different venues Emerald Lakes was chosen.  The lake, fed from the Nerang River is free from weed with the sailing area having a north/south aspect.

To generate an atmosphere that fosters a positive environment for all members and to generally promote the sport of radio yachting wherever possible 

Class of Yacht

We sail International One metre class yachts.  Check out www.radiosailing.org.au  for information on the class. We also sail the Ten rater class on a regular basis.

Race Days

Our club races every Saturday 12.30 to 4.00pm – check out our Race Program page

Sign on 12noon

Racing starts 12:30pm, finish 4.00pm

Happy hour from 4:15pm

Thursday On the Pond (TOPS) also race Thursday afternoons
