PLEASE NOTE. As
the race club has put in a golf driving range we will be sailing at the
southern end of the pond. It is a new experience to sail this course with a
good long windward leg, well visible if the northeaster is blowing. As you
turn LEFT after crossing the race tracks please DON’T drive on the dirt
training track, there will be signs directing you to the sailing site.
After much
discussion with our members we would like to bring to your attention that
good sportsmanship and gentlemanly behaviour is required
at all times while involved with this event. That is to say, that swearing
and aggressive behaviour will be met with disqualification or expulsion. If
there are confrontations then we ask that they be dealt properly. We
encourage good competitive sailing and lots of close racing.
We welcome you to
this event and we hope you will have lots of fun and that it be an enjoyable
weekend away.
