The North
Lakes One Metre Yacht Squadron Incorporated (NLOMYS Inc) on behalf of
the Queensland Radio Yachting Association (QRYA) and the Australian
Radio Yachting Association Inc (ARYA) formally invite skippers of EC12
Class yachts who are affiliated with their National Association to
nominate for the 2008 Australian EC12 Class Championship to be conducted
on Lake Eden, North Lakes Qld over the weekend of 17th and 18th
May 2008 with practice on the 16th if required. We assure you
will be made very welcome.
VENUE:
Lake Eden
is a man made lake situated in the master planned community of North
Lakes Qld adjacent to Highway M1 approximately 25 km north of the
Brisbane CBD. Its location ensures easy access to the Redcliffe
Peninsular (15 minutes, the Sunshine Coast (50 minutes) and the Gold
Coast (70 minutes)
The venue
incorporates a lakeside café, public facilities and suitable grassed
picnic surround. It is located within walking distance from the North
Lakes Town Centre which includes a major Westfield Shopping Centre,
Tavern and Public Library.
